What Cause Unclear Printing

1. Insufficient battery power and print density in the print preview of the app.
2. Clean the print head with alcohol.
3. Please replace a new paper roll printing, moisture in the paper roll can result in blurred prints.

Printing Blanks & Paper Roll Installation

Please use thermal paper and install the paper roll correctly. The printing side should face the print head. Paper roll installation video HERE .

Unable to Connect to Bluetooth

1. Download the Phomemo app HERE
2. Turn on the printer and activate Bluetooth on your phone within 3 meters of the printer.
3. Open the Phomemo app and connect to the printer via Bluetooth.
4. Alternatively, turn on the printer and print a QR code by double-clicking the power button. Then, in the app, click “Scan QR code” to connect via Bluetooth.

Paper not Detected

Video instructions HERE or follow the following instructions
1. Turn on the printer without putting in any paper.
2. Press the power button for 10-20 seconds until the indicator light flashes twice, and then release the power button to complete the paper learning process.
3. Reload the paper and long press the power button to turn on the printer.

Printing Missing

1. The paper roll might get stuck, please tighten the paper roll and install it again.

2. There is a problem with the Bluetooth transmission speed between the printer and your phone, please try printing on another phone.

Charging Abnormality

1. Ensure the power socket is live, use a charging cable and head with an output of 5V-2A.
2. The charging cable and head should be fully plugged.
3. The printer’s indicator light will flash while charging. It will stop flashing once fully charged.

About Red Light

1. Red light always on
Please connect the app, and then click “Print” to check what information is displayed in the app.
• If the app prompts “No paper in the printer”, please follow the question before.
• If the app prompts “Printer cover open”,follow the instructions in the app to close the printer cover firmly.
2. Flashing red light
• A flashing red light indicates low battery level. Please charge the printer in time.

Automatic Shutdown

1. Please charge the printer and check whether it has set an automatic shutdown time.
2. Please connect and click the top right corner of the homepage, and then select the model of the connected printer in the list to enter the “Manage Devices” page. On this page, you can check whether the auto shutdown time is set.

Fail to Connect via Bluetooth

1. Please do not search for the device in the Bluetooth function of the phone system, you need to go to the Print Master APP. Normally, we use Print Master to connect the printer via Bluetooth.
2. If you need a video demonstration, please open Print Master APP and click “Profile” in the lower right corner – Tutorials – Software instructions – Printer Connection to view a detailed video demonstration of printer connection.

Blank Printing

1. The print side is the side from which labels can be removed (as shown below), check that the print side is facing left by placing the printer face up on a flat table.
2. Please open the cover to remove the paper roll and check whether the print head position is jammed by labels or strange objects.
3. Gently wipe the print head with a cotton swab moistened with alcohol. to make sure there is no dirt or stickers on the print head.

Unclear Printing

1. Open the app to check the printer’s remaining power. If it’s below 30%, fully charge the printer and try printing again.

2. Clean the print head:
• Turn off the printer and remove the label.
• If just printed, wait 30 minutes for the print head to cool.
• Use a cotton swab with alcohol or a print head cleaning pen to gently wipe the print head surface 5 times back and forth.
• Wait 5-10 minutes for the alcohol to evaporate, close the printer cover, and restart the printer.

3. Try other paper rolls to check if printing is clear.
• If not improved, send us a photo of the blurry print and a screenshot of your printer’s firmware information.

Print Offset / Paper Skip

Before printing, click the power button to allow the printer to perform a positional calibration (this may waste the first label). Please note: After the calibration is complete, you can edit the content to print normally.After printing, you need to peel off the label flat along the paper exit.If you do not need to change the size or paper roll, do not remove the paper roll after printing (no need to calibrate for the next use)

Red Light

1. Make sure the paper roll is installed correctly and pull it out of the paper outlet.
2. Clean the print head with alcohol.
3. If the indicator light is still red, try the following steps: When the printer is on and the Remove Label Paper Roll indicator light is red, make sure the printer is in standby with no labels.Press and hold the Power button for 10-20 seconds and release it when the indicator light turns orange.Reinstall the paper roll, turn on the printer and start printing.

Fail to Boot

1. While charging, use a thimble or similar tool to poke the reset hole near the power port. Then try turning on the printer.
2. If it still doesn’t start, replace the data cable and use a 5V-2A charger. Try turning it on after charging for 30 minutes. If it still won’t turn on, please record a video showing the issue.

Fail to Print a Color Background Pattern / Color Print

Our printers are thermal printers, which use heat to create images on thermal paper and cannot print in color. However, you can use labels with colored backing. Purchase link HERE.
